The Camp Gan Israel of Northwest Connecticut day camp brought toys to the patients at the Children’s & Family Health Center in Waterbury as part of their weekly visits to community institutions.

According to The Republican-American newspaper, some 22 campers, some as young as three years old, made the trek, clutching boxes of toys.

“When we have something we love so dearly, we not only share it, but give it away,” Rabbi Joseph Eisenbach, director of Chabad-Lubavitch of Northwest Connecticut, told the campers. “That is the greatest good deed: giving something to someone you never met, and may never meet again.” …
