The FBI has joined the investigation into suspicious fires at two South Florida synagogues, The Miami Herald reported on Thursday.

Two days after a suspected arson at the Chabad House directed by Rabbi Zev and Chani Katz in Miami Beach, Fla., FBI director Robert Mueller told U.S. Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, whose district includes the Chabad House and another congregation charred back in October, that his agency would look into the blazes.

The fire at the Chabad House was the "second in six months and in the middle of Passover," Mueller said at a meeting of the House Judiciary Committee, "which makes it all the more disconcerting and tragic." ...
