At two recently concluded Chabad-Lubavitch teachers' conferences, one in Israel and one in the United States educators focused on how to relate to the individual child.

At the one in Newark, N.J., attendees focused on how to bring out the greatest potential in a student, as well as in the teacher. They also explored new techniques in teaching children how to read Hebrew and ways to spur children to refine their character traits.

In the northern Israel town of Maalot Hakarmel, participants discussed ways to stimulate environments conducive to developing individual talents.

The total number of educators that turned out for both conferences exceeded 400. The gatherings were sponsored by, in the United States, the Chinuch Office, a division of Merkos L'Inyonei Chinuch, Chabad-Lubavitch's educational arm; and the Chabad Youth Organization in Israel.
