Well, we are all wondering where you are and if you are doing ok?

Please, can you have a visiting Rebbe send us some news of you so we can have relief to know you are doing well. Know that you and your unit are in our prayers here in USA, none of you are forgotten, my friends & I have the name of a soldier each to prayer for, but I am praying for all on our list, and you, YCB, and all IDF and related workers, helpers, volunteers, citizens and all Israel. May the G-d of Abraham, Isaac & Jacob be with all of you !! We are studying Torah/praying and doing mitzvahs for all of you. Reply

Update Hi, I haven't heard anything directly from Yared since the operation Cast Lead initiated but I would be informed if -G-d forbid- something bad happened to him. He's OK thank G-d.
Keep praying for him and our IDF soldiers, like we do here for Yared all day, everyday.

Yared, we miss you very much and have you in our minds all the time... Our prayers won't stop until you come back... Reply

Psalm 109 Year 2009 My Prayers and blessings go out to all who must fight this battle of vengence against those who hate us if I could give comfort to any I would say that a quick read of Isaiah 45 says it all... You the people of Israel have escaped the gentile nations that have no understanding... Light is truth and knowledge while darkness is lies and folly.... Stick to the light knowing that you are in the right and even though the hatred of those who live in darkness is strong you in the end will prevail....Shalom to you all..... Reply

Like everyone who is reading your words, I am moved to tears by your courage. I am so angry that the terrorists on the other side of the fence make it necessary for Israel's beloved young people to risk their lives. I pray that you all come home safely to your families and loved ones.

You will suceed Yared, You must think positively. Yes you are facing much danger and are at war with a terrible fierce enemy, however you still have many years ahead, you are still young. May G-d bless you and all your fellow soldiers, to come home alive, safe and victorious. May you be able, very soon, to marry and raise a beautiful family, and continue the special Jewish chain that your ancestors have created.
I was in a state of near death not too long ago, the doctors tell me it's a miracle that I have survived. I remember very clearly asking G-d to allow me to fulfill my mission here on this world. I thank G-d every day for giving me time to accomplish more. And I ask G-d, the Creator of the heavens and earth, to give you the same. You and all your brothers serving along with you.

With prayers for a victorious end to this battle and may this be the final war the Jewish People fight.

Lazer Margolis Thank You, Lazer Margolis, for pointing that out I have looked into my own prayer book to see what you were saying and I do say it every day, even though I do not have a minyan with me, and never really realized that I was saying that fourth line. Go figure, as I was writing to bless Yared, that it happened to be the next line on the next page of my siddur. Plus it must have been divine providence for you to have helped me recognize this! Since I have also looked more deeply into what responsibilities a Kohanim, as I am, has and I wish to thank you! My deeper studies say we are on the right path as long as we follow the Torah! Bless You,Yared, All the IDF Soldiers, Israelis, and all of those people who say Hear O' Israel ! I pray one day to afford Tefillin and a Tallit to pray more to our custom and traditions as commanded by G-d! My Kippot and Tallis will have to do fso be it G-d’s will! Reply

Msy HaShem Bless you, Yared My dear Yared, I too hope that you will be reading this yourself, as I see that there have been no further blogs since Shabbat. It is too much to read all the articles whining about the "civilian" casualties in Gaza, and no attention paid to the soldiers like yourself who are under constant threat that that civilian may be a suicide bomber, or some other evil person intending to do you and your fellow soldiers harm. May G-d spread his sheltering wings and give you peace, and bring you safely home to your family. Reply
