The connection between
an individual and his friend,
between husband and wife,
is not based on the physical body
of bones, flesh and veins.
Rather, it is based
on the characteristics of the soul,
the spirit that is the center
and essence of the person.
It is this that is the connection
between two individuals.
While the physical body can be separated from family,
the spirit of the person cannot
be separated from loved ones,
even via the body’s death.
