Study the history of the universe,
and you will discover that there are those nations
that prospered and others that did not,
some that were scholars
and others that were simpletons.
Explore the history of the Jewish nation,
and you will find their continued existence,
is due—not because of the language they spoke,
and not because of the land they lived in,
but due to Jewish traditions and precepts
that the Jews have continued to observe.
Those who have wandered away
from the Jewish traditions
have disappeared or returned to their roots.
