Berlin foodies will now be able to sample sushi of the kosher variety following the addition of the Japanese fish cuisine to the menu at the city's Chabad-Lubavitch headquarters.
Administrators at the new restaurant in the Szloma Albam House and Rohr Chabad Center – which itself was opened in September – arranged for authentic Japanese chefs to prepare the delicacy.
"The new restaurant will serve students, tourists and others that want a quality kosher meal," says Rabbi Yehuda Tiechtel, co-director of Chabad-Lubavitch of Berlin.
