"Roving rabbis" return to Ica and Pisco, the heaviest hit cities in last week’s Peruvian earthquake, to distribute water, food and clothes.
The local Jewish community in Lima and the Chabad-Lubavitch center there joined in an effort to bring drinks, food and clothing to Peruvians who lost their homes and most of their belongings in last week’s 8.0-magnitude earthquake. The supplies were airlifted to Ica, after which workers loaded pick-up trucks for final deliveries.
