Lubavitch preaches religion and orthodoxy and teaches dedication, but Lubavitchers don't criticize or berate you. When you see them stopping other Jews on the street, all they're asking them to do is don the tefillin to reaffirm their faith each day. Even if one just puts them on and says the quickest blessing for each, the Lubavitchers are happy, for it’s a giant step toward religion. They don't look to find fault with you.
