The namesake of the Beis Rivkah network of girls' schools
Rebbetzin Rivkah Schneerson, born in Lubavitch in 1833 and granddaughter of Rabbi DovBer, the second Chabad Rebbe, was the esteemed wife of Rabbi Shmuel, the fourth Chabad Rebbe. The Beis Rivkah network of girls' schools, founded by Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak in the 1940's, are named after her.
