Four years after the first KabbalahToons animated short appeared on the Chabad.org video site Jewish.TV, the man behind the popular Rabbi Infinity stepped out from behind the curtain to speak to his fans face-to-face.
Chabad-Lubavitch Rabbi Tzvi Freeman, creator of the highly-acclaimed series and author of the widely-read Rabbi Infinity blog entries accompanying each episode, screened several shorts for a Toronto audience last week and discussed some of the deeper concepts in Chasidic thought explored in the cartoons.
Said Freeman: “The best things are found in the craziest places. Who would think that someone would plant the secrets of life in some loony cartoons?”
The newest KabbalahToons installment airs here Wednesday night at 8 p.m. Eastern time.
