We are now in the month of Elul when we prepare for the High Holidays. In addition to the practicalities that must be tended to, we also prepare on a soul level, working to become our very best, most spiritual selves.
Traditionally, this when we have our mezuzahs and tefillin checked, to make sure that they are unblemished and still fit for use. It’s also a perfect time to ensure that every door requiring a mezuzah has one.
Contact your local Chabad center to arrange a check-up. In the unlikely scenario that you don’t live near a Chabad House, contact us and we’d be happy to help.
And if some mezuzahs and tefillin need to be replaced, your Chabad rabbi should be able to help you with that as well. You can also go to our Judaica store for a full line of certified tefillin, mezuzahs and cases, which you can purchase with confidence.
