Meetings in Mumbai Focus on Chabad House’s Future

March 9, 2009 7:15 AM
During the week of March 2, a series of meetings were held in Mumbai, India, to lay the groundwork for the future of Chabad-Lubavitch activities in the city. The meetings followed a trip to Australia Nachman and Freida Holtzberg took last month with Rabbi Avraham Berkowitz, director of the Chabad Mumbai Relief Fund, to garner communal support for the fund, which is working to rebuild the Chabad House and ensure lifetime support for Moshe Holtzberg, the orphaned son of Rabbi Gavriel and Rivka Holtzberg.
