Passover Festivities in Nigeria Get Boost From New York-Based Rabbinical Team

As part of the hundreds of Chabad-Lubavitch rabbinical students who traveled to locales all over the world this week to lead Passover Seders, Motti Seligson and Shalom Nagar, both natives of Brooklyn, N.Y., arrived in Abuja, Nigeria. They immediately began organizing Passover-related programming in advance of the holiday, which begins Saturday night. About a dozen groups are focusing on smaller Jewish populations throughout Sub-Saharan Africa. Under the sponsorship of Rabbi Shlomo Bentolila, director of Chabad-Lubavitch of Central Africa, and Rabbi Moshe Kotlarsky, vice-chairman of Merkos L’Inyonei Chinuch, the education arm of Chabad-Lubavitch.
