Under the auspices of the Aleph Institute – a prison rehabilitation organization founded in 1981 – 10 Chabad-Lubavitch rabbinical students visited inmates at Dade Correctional Institution in Florida City, Fla. The program, called ''Yeshivah Behind Bars,'' gave students three nine-hour days to learn Jewish texts, pray and eat meals with 13 inmates. I was in prison for 18 months at mdc brooklyn about 3 yrs ago. Whenever we got a visit from chabad boys it always uplifted my soul. I cant thank you enough for those times. They helped me back to my Jewish soul. Please o please dont stop doing this. Lives and souls are saved because of your efforts. Reply
