Charity: More Than A Charitable Act

Tzedakah is more than a Charitable act. It is sharing with others what G-d in His kindness has given us.

"Tzedakah doesn't neccessarily mean money." I agree with this bit wholeheartedly, Rabbi. My motto is "If you can't give money, then volunteer." The way I see it, it all goes to the same cause-making the world a better place. Reply

Tzedakah; a complicated word A very difficult word to put into context in English. Certainly as stated in this video we need to view Tzedakah as more than just 'charity' and I prefer the English translation to 'righteousness.'
Fantastic video clip, as are all educational offerings from Chabad. Reply

The Deed: Tzedakah Thanks for the helpful and inspiring instructional videos. I'm a Christian pastor trying to learn more about the Jewish roots of my faith. I thank G-d every day for Chadad. Reply

Education I spend many evenings at my computer watching and learning from the wonderful videos provided by Chabad. The work you're doing is so vital to my Jewish education. As a relative newcomer to Chabad of Chatsworth
and having never been a practicing Jewish male I feel it's important to say thank you. Keep up the good work. Reply
