I learned that an Orthodox Jewish male may not watch a female sing. So you're at a special gala, and a famous female singer comes on stage. She's going to sing a beautiful song that touches the hearts of everyone. But the Orthodox male can not watch her sing. I know the reason why, but is this really true? Can you explain? Reply

If I understand correctly, Jews are not allowed to listen to secular music. Does this also apply to Noahides? And are the latter allowed to listen to Jewish music with Jewish lyrics intended for Jews? If not, what kind of music with lyrics are Noahides allowed to listen to? Reply
There should certainly be no problem with Noahides listening to Jewish music Reply

I heard a Nigun Simcha played by Boris Sevchuk on the violin at 5:94 EST on Friday, 12/4 and would like to know where to find this. ( I came in toward the end of this item on the playlist so I don’t know if it was part of a medley) It is listed as number 8 on your playlist. Is it in the Simcha medley on “Cry of the Soul”? Sevchuk’s collection on Chabad.org? Or somewhere else? I would like to find that specific nigun simcha. Reply

Love the music app and collection playlists! Can't get an album/playlist to play ALL the songs on the list or album, however. On my android phone, I can only play one, then it loads the next one, but doesn't play it. I have to hit 'play' button each time. Any suggestions? Reply
