| 1A praise of David. I shall exalt You, my God the King, and I shall bless Your name forever and ever. |

אתְּהִלָּ֗ה לְדָ֫וִ֥ד אֲ֖רֽוֹמִמְךָ אֱלוֹהַ֣י הַמֶּ֑לֶךְ וַֽאֲבָֽ֘רֲכָ֥ה שִׁ֜מְךָ֗ לְע֘וֹלָ֥ם וָעֶֽד: |
| 2Every day I shall bless You, and I shall praise Your name forever and ever. |
|
בבְּכָל־י֥וֹם אֲבָֽרֲכֶ֑ךָּ וַֽאֲהַ֘לְלָ֥ה שִׁ֜מְךָ֗ לְע֘וֹלָ֥ם וָעֶֽד: |
| 3The Lord is great and very much praised, and His greatness cannot be searched. |
|
גגָּ֘ד֥וֹל יְהֹוָ֣ה וּמְהֻלָּ֣ל מְאֹ֑ד וְ֜לִגְדֻלָּת֗וֹ אֵ֣ין חֵֽקֶר: |
| 4Generation to generation will praise Your works, and they will recite Your mighty deeds. |
|
דדּ֣וֹר לְ֖דוֹר יְשַׁבַּ֣ח מַֽעֲשֶׂ֑יךָ וּגְב֖וּרֹתֶ֣יךָ יַגִּֽידוּ: |
| Generation to generation will praise Your works: And I, too, shall speak of the majesty of the glory of Your splendor. |
|
דור לדור ישבח מעשיך:
וגם אני הדר כבוד הודך אשיחה:
|
| 5Of the majesty of the glory of Your splendor and the words of Your wonders I shall speak. |
|
ההֲדַר כְּב֣וֹד הוֹדֶ֑ךָ וְדִבְרֵ֖י נִפְלְאֹתֶ֣יךָ אָשִֽׂיחָה: |
| 6And the strength of Your awesome deeds they will tell, and Your greatness I shall sing. |
|
ווֶֽעֱז֣וּז נֽוֹרְאֹתֶ֣יךָ יֹאמֵ֑רוּ וּגְדוּלָּֽתְךָ֥ (כתיב וּגְדֻלָּֽותְךָ֥) אֲסַפְּרֶֽנָּה: |
| And the strength of Your awesome deeds they will tell: And I, too, shall recite Your greatness. |
|
ועזוז נוראותיך יאמרו:
וגם אני גדולתך אספרנה:
|
| 7Of the remembrance of Your abundant goodness they will speak, and of Your righteousness they will sing. |
|
זזֵ֣כֶר רַב־טֽוּבְךָ֣ יַבִּ֑יעוּ וְצִדְקָֽתְךָ֥ יְרַנֵּֽנוּ: |
| Of the remembrance of Your abundant goodness they will speak: i.e., one generation to another generation. |
|
זכר רב טובך יביעו:
דור לדור:

| 8The Lord is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and of great kindness. |
|
חחַנּ֣וּן וְרַח֣וּם יְהֹוָ֑ה אֶ֥רֶךְ אַ֜פַּ֗יִם וּגְדָל־חָֽסֶד: |
| 9The Lord is good to all, and His mercies are on all His works. |
|
טטֽוֹב־יְהֹוָ֥ה לַכֹּ֑ל וְ֜רַֽחֲמָ֗יו עַל־כָּל־מַֽעֲשָֽׂיו: |
| 10All Your works will thank You, O Lord, and Your pious ones will bless You. |
|
ייוֹד֣וּךָ יְ֖הֹוָה כָּל־מַֽעֲשֶׂ֑יךָ וַֽ֜חֲסִידֶ֗יךָ יְבָֽרֲכֽוּכָה: |
| 11They will tell the glory of Your kingdom, and they will speak of Your might. |
|
יאכְּב֣וֹד מַלְכֽוּתְךָ֣ יֹאמֵ֑רוּ וּגְבוּרָֽתְךָ֥ יְדַבֵּֽרוּ: |
| and they will speak of Your might: to each other, saying, “It is good for us to make known to the children of men His mighty deeds and the glory of the majesty of the kingdom of the Holy One, blessed be He.” (I found.)(The “nun” is missing from the “aleph-beth” because David saw in it a serious downfall [Amos 5:2]: “The virgin of Israel has fallen and shall not continue to rise.” And he returned and supported her with the holy spirit: The Lord supports all those who fall.) |

גבורתך ידברו:
זה לזה לאמר טוב לנו להודיע לבני האדם גבורותיו וכבוד הדר מלכותו של הקב"ה (מצאתי) נו"ן חסרה מאלפ"א בית"א לפי שראה דוד בה מפלה קשה נפלה ולא תוסיף קום בתולת ישראל (עמוס ו') וחזר וסמכה ברוח הקודש סומך ה' לכל הנופלים:

| 12To make known to the children of men His mighty deeds and the glory of the majesty of His kingdom. |
|
יבלְה֘וֹדִ֚יעַ לִבְנֵ֣י הָֽאָדָ֣ם גְּבֽוּרֹתָ֑יו וּ֜כְב֗וֹד הֲדַ֣ר מַלְכוּתֽוֹ: |
| 13Your kingdom is a kingdom of all times, and Your ruling is in every generation. |
|
יגמַלְכֽוּתְךָ֗ מַלְכ֥וּת כָּל־עֹֽלָמִ֑ים וּ֜מֶֽמְשַׁלְתְּךָ֗ בְּכָל־דּ֥וֹר וָדֹֽר: |
| 14The Lord supports all those who fall and straightens all who are bent down. |
|
ידסוֹמֵ֣ךְ יְ֖הֹוָה לְכָל־הַנֹּֽפְלִ֑ים וְ֜זוֹקֵ֗ף לְכָל־הַכְּפוּפִֽים: |
| 15Everyone's eyes look to You with hope, and You give them their food in its time. |
|
טועֵ֣ינֵי כֹ֖ל אֵלֶ֣יךָ יְשַׂבֵּ֑רוּ וְאַתָּ֚ה נוֹתֵֽן־לָהֶ֖ם אֶת־אָכְלָ֣ם בְּעִתּֽוֹ: |
| 16You open Your hand and satisfy every living thing [with] its desire. |
|
טזפּוֹתֵ֥חַ אֶת־יָדֶ֑ךָ וּמַשְׂבִּ֖יעַ לְכָל־חַ֣י רָצֽוֹן: |
| and satisfy every living thing [with] its desire: With a sufficiency to sustain him, He satisfies his goodness, his will, and his blessing. |

ומשביע לכל חי רצון:
כדי פרנסתו הוא משביע את טובו ואת רצונו ואת ברכתו רצון. אפיימנ"ט בלע"ז:

| 17The Lord is righteous in all His ways and kind in all His deeds. |
|
יזצַדִּ֣יק יְ֖הֹוָה בְּכָל־דְּרָכָ֑יו וְ֜חָסִ֗יד בְּכָל־מַֽעֲשָֽׂיו: |
| 18The Lord is near to all who call Him, to all who call Him with sincerity. |
|
יחקָר֣וֹב יְ֖הֹוָה לְכָל־קֹֽרְאָ֑יו לְכֹ֚ל אֲשֶׁ֖ר יִקְרָאֻ֣הוּ בֶֽאֱמֶֽת: |
| 19He does the will of those who fear Him, and He hears their cry and saves them. |
|
יטרְצֽוֹן־יְרֵאָ֥יו יַֽעֲשֶׂ֑ה וְאֶת־שַׁוְעָ֘תָ֥ם יִ֜שְׁמַ֗ע וְיֽוֹשִׁיעֵֽם: |
| 20The Lord guards all who love Him, and He destroys all the wicked. |
|
כשׁוֹמֵ֣ר יְ֖הֹוָה אֶת־כָּל־אֹֽהֲבָ֑יו וְאֵ֖ת כָּל־הָֽרְשָׁעִ֣ים יַשְׁמִֽיד: |
| 21My mouth will speak the praise of the Lord, and all flesh will bless His holy name forever and ever. |
|
כאתְּהִלַּ֥ת יְהֹוָ֗ה יְֽדַבֵּ֫ר פִּ֥י וִיבָרֵ֣ךְ כָּל־בָּ֖שָׂר שֵׁ֥ם קָדְשׁ֗וֹ לְע֘וֹלָ֥ם וָעֶֽד: |
| My mouth will speak the praise of the Lord: and also all flesh will bless His holy name forever and ever. |
|
תהלת ה' ידבר פי:
וגם כל בשר יברך את שם קדשו לעולם ועד:
